Can you believe that it’s been almost one year since South Africa’s level 5 lockdown? It seems like just yesterday and a long time ago all at once. Through so much uncertainty we’re really proud that we managed to make it through and continue to expertly handcraft memory keepers for all of your big occasions and milestones. We’d like to say thank you for incredible support!

Orders and Manufacturing:

We are working to complete orders within 2 – 3 full working days, but this follows a chronological approach. which only begins once your payment has reflected on our system. Orders are dispatched after this time. This timing may be subject to change without prior notice.

IMPORTANT:

When your Silvery package is delivered be sure to sanitise your hands and the flybag prior to opening it. Each Silvery order is packed and dispatched with care. Regular sanitising within our workshop takes place, however it’s in your best interest to dispose of the flybag and bubble wrap immediately and to wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds prior and after touching the parcel. Avoid getting sanitiser on your jewellery pieces. Harsh chemicals and excessive hand washing does impact 925 Sterling Silver and 14k Gold or Rose Gold Plating.

Our T’s and C’s are still in place, however there will be variations regarding manufacturing time. Please respect the measures put in place to deal with the pressures during this difficult time. The same rules apply to refunds and general business conduct.

Update: 2 September 2020 – Message from the Australian Postal Service

Over the last three weeks, Australia Post has experienced a significant increase in demand as Victorians have increased their online buying due to stage 4 lockdowns. So much so, that our parcel volumes in Victoria are up approximately 150% year-on-year compared to the national average of 90%.

Safety of our people is not-negotiable and the current situation in Victoria, with massive volumes and severe congestion in our network, has us at a point of concern for the safety of our workforce.

Victoria destined Parcels
With the massive demand and workforce capacity constraints, we foresee an additional 3 day delay for deliveries in Victoria. This is both within and into Victoria.

This means, any lodgements made in other States destined for Victoria may be held in those States for up to 3 business days to allow Victoria to work through the present demand.

Orders are being worked on systematically and chronologically. We are working to complete orders within 3  full working days, but this follows a chronological approach. If we do experience any COVID delays in our manufacturing time we will notify you immediately.

Deliveries

Occasionally when we are sending your orders from our crafting station in South Africa we are experiencing delays with DHL and the availability of international cargo flights to our offices in Sydney. There may be a delay of up to 4 days on our current delivery times.

The Australian Postal Service network is also under immense pressure, for the latest update please check directly on their website.
